Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (PM-JUGA):

  • Initially termed PM Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan (PM-JUGA).
  • Cleared by the Union Cabinet as an umbrella package for 63,000 Scheduled Tribe-majority villages.

    • 20 lakh pucca homes for ST families.
    • 25,000 km of roads to connect ST-majority villages.
  • Water and Electrification:
    • Piped water to every eligible village, focusing on 5,000 small hamlets.
    • Electrification of 2.35 lakh households and unconnected public institutions.
  • Additional Provisions:
    • 25 lakh LPG connections.
    • Broadband connectivity to 5,000 tribal villages under BharatNet.
    • 100 tribal multi-purpose marketing centers.
