Climate Resilient Coastal Fishermen Villages (CRCFVs)Development of 100 coastal villages with Rs. 200 crore budget for sustainable fishing practices, infrastructure improvements, and climate-smart livelihoods.
Drone Technology Pilot ProjectLaunched by Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (CIFRI) to explore drones for fish transportation and inland fisheries management.
Centre of Excellence for Seaweed FarmingMandapam Regional Centre of ICAR-CMFRI designated as a Centre of Excellence for seaweed farming, focusing on innovation and sustainable practices.
